Have a 09 Bounder built on a 2007 ford 22,000 chassis. I'm wanting to install firestone ride rite air bags but here's the problem they show part # 2070 to fit 1999-2007 f53 16,000-18,000 but not 22,000 and part # 2475 to fit 2008-2009 22,000. So I called Firestone tech dept today and they told me that they did not make a kit for the 2007 down 22,000 chassis and that the 2008-2009 kit would not work, what has others done? I bought a 2070 kit and with a little work I can get the air bags to fit dead center of axle and right in the middle of the frame. They show it mounting in front of axle but I would think dead center of axle would be better. Most DP air bags are dead center of axles right?

I'm pretty sure mine are mounted in front of the rear axle on our Spartan MM chassis. Our front axle is IFS so they're over the "A" arms which are centered.

Can't speak for others, but the Ride-Rites on the front of our 2000 20,500 GVWR chassis are mounted over the the center of the axle.
