2012 Tiffin 34TGA (Gasser) Power loss

I am experiencing sporadic loss of power on the freeway at around 50 mph when trying to accelerate.
Happened the other day coming home on a trip in a 65mph zone and couldn't get over 45mph.
Any ideas?
The power loss is preceded by a rapid ticking sound inside the coach under the dash...then it's as if I took my foot off the gas.
Any ideas?

Since you don't specify which chassis you have, I'm confused as to why you posted this in the Workhorse forum while your avatar "list" suggests you have a Ford based MH. Many here WANT to help, but we need a little info to start with.....

woodburner, Workhorse gas chassis haven't been available for a couple of years now since the demise of the 8.1 engine. Unless you have a very early 2012 model that was built with a leftover Workhorse chassis, I would bet your 2012 Allegro has a Ford chassis. If that's the case, you will get a better response to your question over on the Ford section of the forum.

A monitor moved the thread here...I don't know why!
I thought it was common knowledge that there are no Workhorse chassis on ANY 2012 motor homes;Guess not.
It's a V-10 FORD on the F-53 chassis.
Does anyone have an idea of what might be the cause?

You can "report" your own post and request they move the thread to the Ford chassis forum.

Good luck finding your problem.

Problem solved....

It was a code 13 triple E; an issue not directly related to Ford or anyone else for that matter.

My big fat foot was catching the brake as I tried to accelerate after slowing down....OF COURSE IT LOST POWER!
Bought a new pair of shoes with out the "lip" that my Nike's had and all is well.

The ticking noise was the brakes...when my foot touched the pedal it was pushing it down just enough to make it do that.
MY BRAKES when depressed make a tick...Just one tick usually goes un- noticed...
I am really glad I figured this one out....
By accident; But I'll take it.
