I took my newly purchased 2014 ACE 29.2 for a ride home from a Connecticut dealer to my home about 20 miles away and I noticed it has a slight wander, more than pulling my previous travel trailer. I am planning a trip to Florida and don't want to white-knuckle it all the way there so I have been researching steering stabilizers (RoadMaster Reflex, SteerSafe F-Super & Davis TruTrac). I kind of like the Davis TruTrac by RoadMaster but when I e-mailed one company they said that Ford may have already installed a TruTrac on the 2014 F-53 V10 motorhome chassis as a standard item. Does anyone know if this is true? Yes, I did look underneath the motorhome for the stabilizer but there are so many "bars' under there that I would not know where one was attached if there was one. Another question is; Most companies do sell the TruTrac steering stabilizer for the F-53 V10 but the part number shows the the highest vehicle year as 2009. Does anyone know if a 2009 TruTrac steering stabilizer for a F-53 V10 will fit a 2014?

Use the VIn or check the inside of the coach and see if it is built on a 2013 Ford Chassis... or 2014 chassis.... if it had been sitting around it could have been build on a 2013 chassis... if you don't find it a call to Ford can help about the chassis year... If they only start in 2014 to put the stabilizers on I'd tell the dealer you bought a 2014 and have them install it at their cost.
