Sorry Forest, I had a finger check on my previous post. I meant to say 16% grade. I just held the shift key too long.

I see your point, but you didn't make it clear that you were creeping thru an uphill turn in first gear either.

For 16% grades I have to be in first. I can accelerate in straight always but not enough to shift into 2nd.
