We just drove from Rhode Island to New Orleans in our 2002 Adventure we came through the smokey monts at 55 to 60 mph we were pulling a 16 ft enclosed trailer with a KIA Soul and two handicap scooters. I am now a beliver in the V10

If you are happy with the 2 valve V10 and 4 speed tranny you should see the difference in the 3 valve and 5 speed. We pull 9000 lbs using a Trailer Toad to take the weight off the MH. I run about 60 mph and yes it will pull down on the big grades but I keep so that it never shifts below 3rd gear and keep the rpms below 4000.
