Question 94 ford mh

Thanks for your pass help. I am in need of it again on 94 winnebago vertra i need to replace my motor 460 fuel injection wondering then best way of doing this. Also what years may fit it thanks ever so much chucksteak @ chuck68@windstream.net

Not sure what you are asking.
All the 460 engines in the 90's have fuel injection and most if not all of the fuel injection parts will fit.
Are you saying you want to replace the engine?
Are you saying you want to replace the fuel injectors?
What problem are you having with the 460 (7.5L)?

I'm with Subford, much confused!

I do know though that a 460 is a pretty much bullet-proof engine, you have to really work to break or wear one out. Motors with 300,000 miles on them and still performing just fine isn't unusual.

I guess that I was not clear it was just the motor that i was asking about thanks

I finallygot head off the 460 the thing that was wrong is #1 cyl the piston above the first ring grove about 2inches of the piston was broken off and was hitting the head and jammed the sparkplug i have no idea how it happen may someone can shed a little light on my problem thanks

what could make the top of the section of the ring grove break off about two inches thanks for any help you may have.

Detonation. This can be caused by bad gas, cheap gas, hot spots/overheating as well as improper ignition timing, ect.
