1999 F-53 under 2000 Pace Arrow Vision. The heating and air conditioning control unit in the dash is not receiving power. The only power getting to it is the lights when the headlight switch is turned on. I check all the fuses and they test out as good. The control was coming off and on randomly until recently. Now nothing. Anyone have ideas?

On my 99 Winnebago, the heat/ac control is by vacuum. I had a vacuum leak in one of the lines our on the firewall. Once that was repaired the control worked correctly.

Fuse 7 in the fuse panel by the driver is listed as 'blower motor relay coil' 15 amp.
Fuse 23 in the fuse panel in the engine compartment "blower motor feed" 40 amp
Relay 5 in the fuse panel in the engine compartment "blower motor relay"

First we would need to know what brand A/C system you have.
Most likely it would be an EVENS or a DENSO.

The wiring would be different.
I could send you the Ford part diagrams but they would not do you much good without the A/C wiring diagrams.

As an example below is a pdf of the EVENS wiring.

If your a/c control panel looks like one of these it is evans tempcon.
Evans Tempcon, Inc

No matter who built it the ford fuses are still the same. That is the way the stripped chassis is delivered.
