We have the f53 class a 35 foot. How much will air bags lift the backend of a coach? We have a rather steep driveway and the coach bottoms out.
I have done some cement work to lessen the grade but it looks like a couple of inches would help solve my problem.
Thanks

If you lighten the rear end load (ie:drain water tank & holding tanks) and pump up the air bags to 90-100psi, you can easily gain almost 4". They help on the road also by effectively transfering some weight to the front axle. I usually only run empty & about 40-50 lbs in the rear air bags.

I only get about 1 1/2" to 2" out of my Airlift air bags.

I have a 2006 30' Class A on the F53...I was told to expect 3-4" with the Firestone airbags in the rear.....After install, got 1 1/2" pumped up to max (100#)..............

I had the same issue, 90 degree turn then up a narrow, steep drive.......Bought a small 3" rubber wheel that mounts to the hitch and with that and the gain of the airbags it still drags but not very much and acceptable now.....

Thanks for the reply. Our motorhome is 35 feet with a tag axle. We made a ramp but still have some issues, so I thought that the air bags would help. 4inches would be great but 1.5 may not be worth the expense. Still gathering information.
Thanks
