Antilock Brakes

Quick question, recent problem with hard shift and speedo not registerIng search the problem and ABS sensor, haven't addressed it yet but for now it fixed itself.

Was wondering about the antilock Brakes are they all wheel or what?

Not sure I understand your question. Are you saying your speedometer stopped working and now it works again?

Put your VIN# in NAPA auto parts and look for ABS sensors.

It is probably a 3 sensor systen. The rear sensor doubles as a speed sensor for the speedometer.

With no speedo, the transmission shift points default to a get by mode.

Could be wire or connection issues at the rear differential housing. The sensor is on the top of the housing.

Good luck

These sensors are prone to have problems. I had to replace mine. 1999 F53. They are twenty something dollars at NAPA.

Guess I posted too much info.
I was just describing the problem that occurred and have already research the solution.

The ABS / speed sensor is bad but intermittent so the speedo didn't work for a short time and Trans had hard shift but for now ok. .Will buy sensor and replace asap.

During my research and determining problem is abs sensor I thought about the antilock Brakes.

My question is : Are the antilock Brakes on my unit all wheel or just front/ rear ? Sorry for any confusion.
