Any good Ford service near Slidell LA?

I'm headed to Slidell, then Abita Springs. Anyone know of a good, reputable mh mechanic who can do an oil change and tune up on my Ford chassis? I've used dealers till now, but I keep hearing how good some independent RV mechanics are and I'd much rather give them the business. Just curious. Thanks in advance.

I use to live in Slidell and if I had the choice I wouldn't have any work done there. They do business different there and not in a good way, but that's just my opinion.

I live on the MS Gulf Coast and if you are near Slidell I would go to Paw Paws Camper City in Picaunye. About 21 miles from Slidell off of Route 59.

We broke down there in Fall of 07, had to choose between going back to Baton Rouge to a waiting Ford dealer or tow driver found an independent shop in Mobile Al. Since we were headed east & toe driver didn't want to go to Baton Rouge we went to Mobile. Buddy's Automotive in Mobile is a very friendly & capable shop servicing all levels of class A. I would go again whenever I'm in the area. Eveen just to say hello.
