Anyone at Hershey

We went last year and Ford had a big display including an F53 chassis. Curious if there are any displays or information on the new motor.

When I went last year, I took a number of photos of the F53 chassis from all angles. Figured it might prove useful someday to find where things are located/mounted.

I'll be there tomorrow. Since I don't live too far away (I actually teach at Hershey High School) I'll be stopping by after 3:00 for the discounted price. I haven't been to the show for a few years, but I believe I recall seeing the Ford chassis there before. Taking pictures is a great idea!

Hello Vettenuts
I think your idea of taking photos of the F53 chassis was excellent, I had never thought of that.
Is there any chance you would consider sharing those photos?
If so, I could send you my email address.
Thank you.
Jim

Jim,

Unfortunately I took them with my wife’s iPhone, which had a better camera. On our last trip she was charging it while we were driving and it caught on fire (very scary as I couldn’t help her). Some of the photos were backed up to the cloud so I would need to search google photos to see if they got backed up. Will check later and let you know if I still have them.

Update: I found the photos and uploaded to the link below. Once you open the link, press the "All Images" button and you will see an album called "F53 Chassis Photos - Hershey 2018". If you go to that locations you should find the photos and be able to copy them. If it doesn't work please let me know and I can upload them here to this forum.

Frustrating that Ford still says “Selectshift” for this chassis. Just wish it had been true.

Great pictures man. It's incredible how little it takes to entertain some of us.

Hopefully we can get a glimpse of the 2020 chassis soon. I love scouring over pictures of things like this searching out every detail. I guess I'm easily entertained.

Thanks for posting the pictures! Pretty neat to see how it's all put together.

Sure glad it's not me working on those things.
