I made an appointment to have the coach washed and waxed at a local RV place.
When I dropped it off, the writer asked if I wanted to have engine and gen service done. Rig is an 08 and only has 4800 miles on the clock.
This is the first service since getting the coach and Figured while it was there, why not.
Got a call yesterday afternoon from them that while doing the maintenance, they noticed a valve cover gasket leak on the drivers side.
Told them to go ahead and repair it but first contact the warrenty outfit, Interstate, and inform them what was discovered and see if it would be covered by them.
Waiting to hear back from them.
Glad I had them doing the job. I think I avoided a BIG problem on the road.

donie, Is your factory warranty up already? 3 years/36,000 miles? The Ford folks ought to be fixing your valve cover.

but it was covered by Interstate.
