Back up camera glare

Drove the new 31E to the dealer and I was not able to use the back up camera due to so much glare. Surely others have experienced this so please advise me the best solution. Thanks so much.

Attach a shroud around it and adjust the angle.
If you look at Higher End MH's you will notice they are shrouded on the top and sides.

A shroud will truly help, but it is not the total solution.

There are times when the sun is in the exact location to make any optical device less than perfect. This applies to your camera, as well as mirrors and sometimes even just the windows can have glare.

I am not familiar with the particular camera the OP mentioned, but I have a shroud on mine, and sometimes, usually near sunset, I do see a glare in the monitor.

Mine is not that sophistocated. I have thought it should have automatic dimmers for situations like this, and while mine has infrared LEDs, it doesn't have much range at night. Again, mine works well, but it is not perfect.
