We have a Titan V-10 chassis on our 2008 ForestRiver Georgetown 338SE. One of the air vent direction controls is giving us fits.

They are mounted in the dash and are the rotating ball type. You can't shut them off completely, but you can get them to almost shut off if you position the ball just right so that the directional vanes point to the sides of the outlet.

Our problem is that one of the balls has absolutely NO resistance & will not stay where you put it. My husband has taken this vent apart and found nothing inside it to hold the ball in place. The hose goes up to the mount, the ball directional device goes in the hose and the front of the vent screws in. The end.

We are wondering if there is something missing, but are a bit afraid to take one of the ones that works apart - don't want to mess up something else.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!!!

You need to contact the motorhome manufacture, the air vent are not part of the Ford chassis.
