Best Grease Ford Approved for Chassis?

What is the best type/brand of grease to use for a 2013 Ford F-53 chasis?

Does it say in your manual? Or go to Ford and buy what they say should be used.

I'm sure it's more than adequate but I don't see Ford listed on the label.

Any of the synthetics will work just fine for the chassis. It's more important to grease often.

Synthetic lubricants (oils and greases) have proven to be superior to stock greases in just about every category over the last 40 years. The real question should be why not use synthetics? Yes you may spend a few more $$$$ but!!!

I've used Mobil 1 and Amsoil and prefer Amsoil. Have had the Mobil 1 grease separate.

RLS7291, Thanks for the link to the article concerning Synthetic lubricants. It's well written and seems to be a very honest report. When they say they don't like something about an oil they point to the facts to support their opinion. The same holds true when they do like an oil.

For the last 55 years or so I've always used various brands of grease with Moly, the black grease, on everything, including wheel bearings, king pins, ball joints, u-joints, etc., with good results.

I use Mobil 1. Not by choice but by chance. Found 3 tubes at a garage sale for $2 each. I am a synthetic fan and will use what ever synthetic chassis lube that is available at the time.

I use Lucas Red"N" Tacky #2 on chassis. I use the Lucas X-TRA heavy duty grease on wheel bearings. It's green in color. It is a polyurea grease. Here is the datasheet:

Here is the datasheet on the red and tacky:

Thanks again. I'm going to get the Lucas product.

I went down that rabbit hole a few years ago. The Ford "2006 Motorhome (mot) Supplement" document cites Ford specification ESA-M1C75-B, and identifies "Premium Long-Life Grease" PN XG-1-C or XG-1-K. Chasing down the spec using Google, I deduced any NLGI #2 grease with moly added will do.

So I found this at Orielly Auto Parts: Mystik JT6 3% Moly
Beware there are multiple Mystik JP6 products but only one has Moly.

I ran out of that recently and was looking around online and found this moly grease available from Tractor Supply: Traveller Moly grease

Those are for articulating joints, not high speed wheel bearings. That document doesn't list a grease for the wheel bearings, and I haven't researched that type yet.
