I have a 2001 28' Coachmen on a F53 chassis, in 2003 I installed the Mor/Ryde system on the front and rear axles. I also lowered the air pressure in my tires to 80 psi. All this improved my ride a great deal. I'm looking for any suggestions or ideas the could improve my ride more.

mark z, welcome to irv2
You didn't say what your trying to control if for steering steering bar may improve it if its your rear end moving around try a Henderson touque bar in rear axel and a Davis tru track for the front axel should make it stable enough to think your driving a race car. Rear bar $450 front about $450 unless both on sale at CW or some other place.
If you post your chassis and coach info in signature profile you won't have to post all the time. Enjoy the forums and post often. "007"

To, Mark Z

Before you do any after-market installs have the rig weighed and adjust tire pressures to tire manufactures psi. Weight and proper inflation are crucial for ride.

Important also, if you have Goodyear 159 tires, they are the best, most rugged TRUCK tire around and are not for MOHO's. If you need tires, get the Goodyear G670's , which are made for RV's.

Good luck

mark z, I echo my welcome to the forum. When you say you want to improve your ride more, I would read that to mean you want a more comfortable (softer) ride as opposed to better handling etc. If your coach still has the factory shocks, I would start with replacing those first. Recommend either Koni's or Monroe HD Gas Magnum RV shocks, Monroe part #557001 front and #557007 rear. A lot of folks like Bilsteins which are outstanding shocks, but might be a bit too stiff for the F53 chassis. As was recommended, weigh your coch and follow the tire Manufacturers recommended air pressure for the weight you're carrying. You will probably be able to safely reduce pressure to 70psi which will definitely soften the ride. I'm sure others will have more and even better suggestions.

Good Luck, Jim

Thank's for all the advice. A softer ride is what I'm looking for. I did install a Davis tru track on the front axel. The tires and shocks are still original,it looks like new Goodyear and Monroe will help me.
