Big back fire!

Hi everyone I have a problem, after I had the BANKS installed in my 1996 460 motorhome at camping world, I been having a big back fire!! I took it back to camping world and they don,t no way??? because it doesn't back fire when I take it there?? I can drive like 500 mile with out a back fire and then out of no were bangggggg!!! So that the thing it douse not do it all the time??I change the cap plugs and wires but no luck.......

Contact Banks directly 888-839-5600 they may be able to give you some Tech support they sell thousands of these and I am sure have delt with this before

Well I called them but they say I have call camping world??? that's just it they don't no way??

I had this happen to me. In my case it ended out being the fuel presure regulator, the diaphram leaked fuel through the vacuum line to the #6 cylider. Key off, motor cool, It's has three allen bolts, It's chrome and on the drivers side.

Could also be an air leak where it bolts to the head.
I had a cracked Manifold do that.
Without air it cannot make a big bang.
But you are getting too much unburned fuel into the exhaust also.
So you could have a bad FPR like Slang said above.

Thanks guys but how would i no if the headers are leaking?? I am thing it leaking at the headers but not sure? I did fine a couple lose bolts??? but still back fires..
