Fast forward 10 years to 2007 and the economy was tanking, particularly for the Big 3, (GM, Chrysler and Ford), which I suspect would be the reason why we haven't seen anything from Ford as yet. Freightliner does have a front engine diesel chassis but very few coach builders are using it. ......

Ford has been selling F650s and F750s for over a decade now, thing is they are NOT fords .......entirely. They are a partnership with navstar and they are built in Mexico. They do use Ford Cabs. These new ones are going to be all Fords we hear.

WOT is "Wide Open Throttle", the accelerator pedal is pushed down and held down as far as it will go.

That Ford chassis must have been a 550 or 650.
Neil
Thor Chateau Super C. Built on a 550 chassis IIRC with the detuned 6.7.

Wondering if we arent part of the same circle of people, because I have some racer friends who also made the same swap. They went to a Jayco Seneca on the M2 chassis. Air ride, air brakes, 22.5" tires, Cummins ISB, Allison 2500. Checks a lot of boxes for me, anyway.
