Blend Door Location

Hello all,
I have a 1999 Winnebago Brave SE on a Ford F-53 chassis and I can't find the location of the heater/AC blend door.
The F-53 manual doesn't give any info. on that.
I believe mine may be broken. Stuck on A/C and no heat.
Either blend door or actuator.
Thank You

Winnebago , installed the dash portion of the A/C , so the chassis manual won't cover it.

Do you see any names on the A/C unit around where the heater hoses, and refrigerant lines go in on the firewall.

Evans and Denso , are common suppliers of the dash A/C systems in coaches.

Evans Tempcon, Inc - Service Parts

HVAC Systems | DENSO Heavy Duty

If the system is vacuum controlled , for the actuators , then it's probably an Evans.

Thanks for the info. I will look for a brand name today.
I am mostly concerned with finding the location of the blend door so I can determine if it is broken or not. I have looked in the Winnebago and the chassis manual and did not see anything about the blend door or plenum box.

I found the diagram in the Winnebago manual. I forgot it was there. Thanks for all of the help!

If you have an Evens Tempcon HVAC, it will be vacuum operated with water flow valve and no blend door. If Denso HVAC it will be totally electric with blend door. Soooooooooo just see if the dash control has a vacuum hose going to it and you will know what you have. I'll bet my first born, it's Evens Tempcom. Hope I loose!

I will check the controls. My problem is that it will not change from a/c to heat and the a/c is only about 60 degrees discharge temp after charging the system.
Also, the fan speed drops significantly when I switch from norm a/c to max a/c. Possibly a problem with the expansion valve block?

Page 42 of the Parts Manual (where he found the blend door images) says: "SCS EVAPORATOR/HEATER ASSEMBLY".

That it correct. It shows it having a blend door.

You will find the "blend door", (or "doors"), somewhere in the dash heat/air conditioner plenum/duct work... (either on the front of, or behind, the front firewall/bulkhead of your coach).
