Bounder Brakes

Is there a proportioning valve on my 1992 Bounder Ford chassis? Also, I bought a new master cylinder from Napa, unlike the one I am replacing it has a 3rd bottom port. What is it for?
I have a short, hard pedal with no return.
No rear brakes but I have front...kinda.
I bought the Bounder with this problem. Previous owner had messed around with trying to fix the brakes but gave up. I'm about to as well. LOL Help!

Your brake system includes a proportioning valve and Anti-lock brakes. I'd suggest you look for a manual for your '92 F53 chassis for more information.

Sounds like your brake booster is not working . You could have a vacuum or hydraulic operated booster. That would cause a short hard petal.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Wish I could help but nobody would ever accuse me of being a mechanic!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Thanks everyone, I just found the manual and realized my Bounder is actually a 1993 not a 92. And it's a 34' model not a 32' like I said before.

The manual keeps referring to a "Brake Warning Light".
I see no such light on instrument panel. Any guesses where ot might be located?

UPDATE
PROBLEM SOLVED!
My mechanic friend used a nut driver to bench bleed my new master cylinder and accidentally left the 10mm socket inside. This mistake kept the plunger from activating the ports of course.
Stupid mistake on his part but we're still good friends. :-)

Stuff happens. Keep brake pad sliders greased so they back off the discs or drums. Had that problem on my F53. Now no more problems.
