Chassis battery replacement

Looks like I have a bad battery on a 2019 Winnebago sunstar. Long story short its only reading 8.6 V. Not sure why its dead, but hopefully problem will be solved with a swap out. What’s a good replacement battery. I do pull a toad and have a chargline, so I would like to upgrade with something stronger. I was thinking optima but cant find the model for the f53. What are some options. Please share the part number if you dont mind.
Thanks!

Seems odd. Shows as 950 cca when ford lists the battery at 750cca? Any ideas

The Chassis battery is not to terribly important, just get the biggest one you can for the space provided.

But a year old battery should not have failed so you do need to take a close look at the electrical system. You never know if they hung something on the battery line that is dragging it down when you though the rig was off.

I asked but there is nothing that could be leaching off the chassis battery. We are certain of it.

Ok this is weird. Manual says battery should be part BH-31-XT , but my battery clearly states bxt65750. They seem like they are very very different batteries

Keep in mind , there is always a drain on the chassis battery. On some MH it could be at 8.6 volts after sitting for two or three weeks without being on a charger.
Charge it up and check voltage daily to see.
You may be in the same place with a new battery if you don't know for sure. You need to find out why it is dead.
Are your house batteries on a charger?
Repeatedly letting a lead acid battery go dead shortens it's life quickly.

We discovered that when the RV was plugged into shore power the chassis (cranking) battery was not being charged. The two house battery's were but not the chassis battery.

Yes if you start the engine it will charge the chassis battery from the engines alternator but if you are at a CG for 30 or 60 days no chassis battery charging and that's not good. For some reason I was under the impression that when plugged into shore the chassis battery would also be charged. Bad assumption as the chassis battery failed to soon. We added a "Trick-L-Start" for about $40 and problem solved. Very easy two wire hook up. Now every time we are plugged in to SP all battery's are being charged.

You can check this just by plugging into shore power and check the charge rate at both sets of battery's. We had about 13-9 on house and 11.7 on chassis which means the converter was not charging the chassis battery.

If your MH sat at the dealers lot, they may have badly mistreated the batteries. They let them run down and just give them a quick jump for test rides.

Don't waste your money on fancy branded batteries, like the Optima.

Go get a Wal-Mart starter battery that meets the specs and bolt it in. Unless your heading to real cold climates, you don't need extra CCAs.

Although the charge line connects to the battery, the alternator is creating the charge that goes to the toad. When the engine is running, the battery is just extra weight.

I got a nice credit. Please confirm I can use this battery.
Its also AGM which I have no clue what it is but people love it.

Or do I go DLG with more CCA

Seeing that your Winnie is new I would take it to a Ford dealer and have them replace it under warranty after they check your alternator.
On most newer coaches the chassis battery is charged on shore power once the house batteries are charged.
