Chassis Lubrication

My motor home is a 2014. It has less than 2,000 miles on it. I might have put 700 of those miles on it and the rest of the miles are from the factory to orlando. I have been under the motor home many times looking and touching everything, inspecting. I am thinking, should I give all the grease fittings a shot of grease before I take it on a trip of at least a thousand miles. I can see the original factory grease that has seeped out and around the grease fittings. From when it was greased. Everything looks good but it was just sitting at the dealers till I bought it.
Thanks for any recommendations, tips.

Jim_ Bob, would not hurt, just in case the person doing the factory greasing missed a spot.

So you don't miss a fitting:
# 9 may have a cap on it.

I just crawled out from under the motor home and found all the fittings. I will give each one a shot of grease just to be sure. What ever Ford calls for or any ideas on that? This will be a good excuse to buy a air powered grease gun. Thanks to everyone

For me it's fairly simple. In all of my years of teaching and reading I have never read a single article that did not give any and all synthetic lubricants a thumbs up. I'm partial to Mobil 1 oil for the engine. It's been around for 30 + years. And I like Amsoil grease and bearing lubricants. Give me one sound reason why you would not choose the best lubricant for your $150,000+++ toy????

Will it really matter in the scheme of things???? I don't care. I want the best. OK I sleep better at night knowing I've treated my vehicle with loving care.

I had a tube of Mobil1 synthetic grease in a grease gun I probably hadn't picked up for 3 years. It had separated into an ATF-like oil and a waxy pink sludge. :(

You mean use maintenance tasks as an excuse to add/upgrade tools? Of course!

You are welcome. I keep a print out of the diagram in the garage for reference.
