Just a quick update that we did our first long trip (+3,000 miles) after completing the CHF with extended front bars on our '12 ACE 29.2. The difference was really noticeable!. We drove from Denver, CO, over the mountains, to Green River, UT, down to Zion NP then over to Las Wages for work for a couple of days. Then headed down south to the Hoover Dam where we got caught in some nasty (+30mph) cross winds. The MH handled with no problems (and even the DH wasn't white knuckled). We then headed over old Route 66 to Oatman (I highly recommend the drive even if the highway is starting to fall apart), down to Lake Havasu, and on to Yuma. I could go on about our adventures, but, bottom line, the CHF worked like a charm and had a noticeable difference in the performance and drivability of our MH.

Whem2fish (Super Dave ) has completed the CHF and just replaced the two rear sway bar bushings with the ones Dunner and others told me to get on ebay. He took these pics while under the MH.
Dave took a picture of the new bushing compared to the old bushing on the street side, it was almost completely worn out. The curb side bushing was not as bad.
First pic is of the CHF on the rear. Haven't driven it out yet, but will make it out this week sometime for sure since DC (dear cousin) Tina is landing this afternoon for an 8 day visit.
I was kind of concerned about the rust...Katie's Coach is 10 years old this year, and she did rest down near the gulf during the winters....

Question
Question.
When I started the CHF I found that moving the bolt to the CHF position that the bolt Bolt was to long and would contact the leaf spring. Has anyone else had this problem ?
I could cut 1/2 off the bolt or buy a shorter bolt.
Any suggestions ?

I just turned the bolt around. May have to do some jacking to get bolts out if spring is n the way. Then reinstall backwards.

I know Dave, but to the untrained eye I was concerned. You did say it wasn't anything to worry about, so I'll let it alone. Thanks again and not meaning at all to doubt your word, sir.
