NeilV, I send a email to Comfort Air and they said they had the Evans vacuum harness. I replied that I was looking for just the hose and they come back with how much. The guys name was Dave dscoby2@comcast.net

I'm pretty sure this hose will do the job: NAPA AUTO PARTS

Or this one: NAPA AUTO PARTS

Go to, (or call), any NAPA store and ask.

Mel: I bought a roll of this silicone vacuum hose about 15 years ago. It is very strong and will not crumble over time. It is not harmed with under hood temperatures. I strongly recommend it.

Hello All, I needed a small amount to add a vacuum canister to the system on my 2000 Adventurer and couldn't find it so I went to a scrap yard and they let me take as much as I wanted from cars and trucks in their yard. Longest run I found was a bit over 3' but enough for my project. Good luck with your search.

With it so common it is a little hard to understand why they appear so unaware of it at the local parts counters. I live in Tampa not a small Township or Village out in the rurals. Haven't had time to really pursue this further but will give it another shot this weekend
