continental HSR 225/70r/19.5 failures

Hello everyone. My 32 foot Thor Hurricane and I were visiting Washington DC last week, about 1600 miles from our home in TX. I am fanatical about maintence and tire pressures. My coach has the original continental HSR tires on the rear axel. Passed visual inspection. Held pressure perfectly. However on the way home, A loud bank shook the coach. We had lost the inner rear drivers side tire. Roadside service installed my spare. Thought it was a fluke. The next morning after getting under way, another loud bang. We lost the passenger side inner tire on the rear. Wow. not a fluke. Date codes on the tires are 2011. almost exactly 5 years. I was all out of spare tires. An internet search on https://www.planrv.com/ found Kilgore Tire Center in Kilgore , TX. Many thanks to them as they brought me 4 new Roadmaster RM170 225/70r/19.5 tires and installed them in the field. They charged me very fairly and got me back on the road safely and quickly. At $180 per tire these were less costly than the Continentals they replaced. That is the tire they stock and said they have had good luck with them. I will let you know. I have also learned to change tires before the five year time period.
