A friend of mine had his cruise control drop out last winter in the desert on a flat road with no bumps, acted like he had touched the brake. Took it to a mechanic who swapped the steering wheel switch module, didn't help. Took it to Ford garage, after two hours of labor, they said it needed the steering wheel switch module and the amplifier. The switch module is obsolete and no longer available, thus they couldn't fix it. Does anyone know where the switch module can be obtained or repaired? Also the amplifier on the motorhome had electrical and vacuum connections, the one in the parts book had only electrical connections.
