Cruise control won't work

Hello all

L'm new to the forum. We bought a 1999 34 Allegro Bay Friday evening, 25500 miles V10, garage kept in excelent condition. Everythong works but the cruise control. I have done some research from what i can find. The recall appears to have been complied with. The fuses are all good. I can not find the speed control amplifier. Does anyone know where it is mounted? Any help is appreciated. Does anyone have a copy of the wiring schematic they can share.

Thanks
Mike

Hey Mike, I had a '95 F150 that had a similar problem. This truck also had a recall for brakes. The correction to the master cylinder connection fixed my cruise problem.

Ford never had cruise control on any of its products, that is only found on GM products.

Ford has Speed Control.
As you requested.

Cruise works

Thanks you for all the input and advice. A local Ford dealer was coopertive and gave me some prints. I troubleshoot the problem to the on switch on the steering wheel. Took it apart cleaned it and it works.
