Tony,
I did the remap/tune from 5star and Mike and love it! Mike is great to work with and it really does make a "BIG" difference.

Mine performed like it should have from the factory after Mike did a tune on mine. I would recommend him to anyone with a Ford.

Welcome from a fellow outlaw owner.
I travel throughout the Appalachian mountains out here in the east and although it can be a little slow at times, I never thought of it to be an issue of motor size, just more of a Class A issue.

I'm actually in conversations with them now thanks to the replies here in this thread.
It's a flash remapping of your engines PCM that is done through the connector under the dash on the drivers side. I currently have my scan gauge hooked into it. I was told that I can unplug the scan gauge, plug in their model, re-flash the PCM, then plug the scan gage back in.
They're running a special until the 24th for IRV2 members on their X3 device for $359.00 shipped

To be honest, my V-10 is pulling just as I expected it would hauling a 37 foot class A MH with my big Sport Tourer in the garage. An improvement in shifting would be nice and added power a bonus.
Great thread!

I did a little writeup with regards to the V-10 in my Damon. I'm extremely happy with the installation of my 5 Star Tune. I highly recommend it for anyone with a Ford V-10
Here's the link to my post on the subject: 5 Star Tune
