The information I saw stated the differential had synthetic oil in it and did not need to be changed until 100,000 miles. I decided I would replace the diff oil because I had no idea what condition it was in. I purchased this rig with 43000 miles and the diff oil looked bad. So I replaced it with Ford oil.

Any brand of 75w-140 synthetic gear oil will be correct. The differential can't read brand labels.
