Dash Airconditioner Not Working

Hi. I have a 2003 Georgie Boy and the dash Air conditioner/heater/blower has stopped working. We can hear the blower start up when switched on but no air is coming out any of the vents. I've checked for crimped or disconnected hoses but they all seem fine. Does anyone have a suggestion of what I should check next? Thanks.

If air is coming out of the windshield defroster vents you have a vacuum leak. There is a little vacuum tank somewhere for the dash AC/heater. Check the hoses on the tank and what ever the source of vacuum is. Some have a little 12v vacuum pump.

I have air coming from the defroster vents so, as you suggested, I checked vacuum hoses and connection to the black ball. Hoses and connections were good but, with engine running, there was no vacuum coming from the hose leading to the engine compartment. What would provide the vacuum on the engine?

The vacuum is provided by the intake manifold. Follow the hose until you come to fitting on the intake manifold of the engine. It will probably be split or pulled loose. If that is the problem, cut back the hose about 1/2 inch and reattach.

the chassis. I followed it and sure enough one end was unplugged from a rubber connector. Plugged it in and I now
have air and heat from the dash. Thanks so much for the advice. I think this forum is absolutely terrific and
has saved me some real time and money.
