Dash light

My coach lost power. The dash showed a circle with a lightning arrow in it and showed a red brake light. The brake was not on could someone tell me what all this means? I let the unit cost for 15 seconds then it started to go again. It is a ford V10 in a 2015 Alegro Open road.

Apparently this symbol indicates a problem with the electric parking brake (had to look online - my coach is too old for this). Might want to contact a Ford dealer for additional information,

SARGEANTROCK-

The way I read the 2015 Ford F-53 motorhome chassis manual (link here), you have a problem and a symptom.

The symptom is: When the engine quits, the Hydromax electric brake system kicks in, so you have stopping power. That explains the "lightning bolt" and brake lights. There should have been a buzzing/pumping noise coming from around your feet at the same time- but you may have been too busy to notice.

The problem is: Your coach lost power.

The cause is: I don't know.

I suggest you take the coach to a mechanic or Ford dealer who can diagnose the power loss. They might start by reading any error codes stored in the OBDII (On-Board Diagnostic II) system.

Finally I got an answer. You folks on IRV2 are the best. The warning light icon was the same. Thanks
