Dashboard parking brake light stays on

We've just had our new motorhome built on a 24k F53 chassis. Of course, the last item to be addressed didn't show up until they started driving it! The parking brake light on the dashboard stays on continuously, and the computer does not show any error code. The Tiffin mechanics tried several things suggested by Ford; then Ford sent the (wrong) replacement module. Correct module arrives; problem remains. It now has to go to Ford. I'm assuming they will fix it, but I'm wondering 1) what could be causing this; and 2) should we be asking for another stem-to-stern inspection to be sure the fix didn't break something else? I ask because I wonder if the Ford techs might not notice if, say, they jarred a house connection loose while they were focused on the chassis.... happened on a past rig...

I could be taking a way too simple approach but mine did that and it was the small switch under the dash that is released by parking brake lever when it is down. Small simple switch in a hard to reach spot but not hard to replace and/or adjust. Of course mine is a 2002 so maybe it is different now.
