Exclamation Driveline Noise

i have a 1996 ford gasser 38 ft class a, on a f53 frame,, it comes with the banks system and over drive,, it has 54k miles and since i have had it , we have been on mostly flat areas, Florida, sc,south ga,, last week we wentto kentucky and i noticed when coming down a steep hill and off the throttle and th engine is holding back i could hear a low wine or growl coming from the drivetrain,, once i throttle up the noise dissappears,, when under load no noise,, when coasting in back pressure i have noise,, any suggestions,,

Possibly universal joints, check to see if they are greased if they have Zerk fittings.

i am hoping carrier bearing or u joint,, i am going to check for slack on the pinion bearing,, i would think the noise would be worse when pulling if it were the ring & pinion,, or do i have that backwards,, more noise when backing off?
