Dually Valve Install Cost

Just got the solid valves from duallyvalve.com. BigO tires wants $230 to install them on all 6 wheels. For those that have had this done, is that reasonable?

I just ordered some. Local tire place wants $36 per tire x 4 or about $140.

Hey, did you get chrome or brass? Is it just a cosmetic color???

I purchased the duallyvalve stems from Pete's Tire at the FMCA Rally in Indio last month for $160 out the door. This included installation and were for the rear tires only.

I had the dually valve stems installed on the rear inner tires for $80.00 on our 2nd coach.

On our first coach I installed them myself in my driveway but I was a few years younger.

Wow...I appreciate all the replies!

Sounds like you are much better off if the people you buy them from do the install. In those cases, it looks like about 20-40 was added into the cost for installation. If not, it will cost and additional 30-40 per tire! Good lessons learned for next time, since I already bought these online...
Thanks!
Al
