I am hoping I can learn what is wrong with my unit. It has had 3 calipers replaced on the left and 2 on the right in the last few years. Obviously root cause has yet to be found. It is at a garage now and they are looking for a "level load sensor' that assists the braking system? Does anyone know if this even exists? 2001 Itasca, Ford chassis E350 V10. Only the front brakes hang up after repeated braking. After braking there is residual pressure, it doesn't release.

Need to know if anyone else is experiencing front brake issues with a 2001 Ford E350 V10. Continue to replace calipers but root cause needs to be found. Is there a load sensor that ties/speaks to the braking system? Calipers hang up after repeated braking. Garage has found residual pressure remaining on caliper but has not determined cause.

Two things to check.
First, look for damage to the rubber links to the front calipers.
Might be hard to spot, but look closely for kinking or pinching marks. I've had problems with a flap of rubber peeling loose from the inside and creating a check valve, if you will.

Second, if this tech is any good he should be looking at the master cylinder, That is the only remaining constant. It is probably not bad, but I would check that the pushrod is adjusted porperly, ie, not holding the piston applied a little at rest.

Hope this helps.

Make sure the brake pads are free and not hanging, most of them (new out of the box) need to be filed some (one pad per wheel, the outer).
There is a TSB out on this.
If they are not free they will hang and over heat.
