You could run a new wire from the computer connector to the transmission connector. I think that's what you mean by bypassing the circuit.

Yep Mark, that is what I meant. I was unsure if it would be intertwined with other systems that I couldn't do it. I know that when I was repairing bundle, I said to a buddy, " how many different variations of white and orange wires can there possibly be"? Anyway, I suspected It was possible I could have messed up as my eyesight isn't what it once was. In discussion yesterday with said buddy, I wondered why I hadn't noticed situation before. Well, the last time out camping, I lost brakes just as I backed into camp sight. Long story short, I smelled somethingpretty warm, checked and rear hubs were hot! Apparently my rears were only brakes working at the time and boiled the fluid.I drove the 30 miles home cautiously, manually shifting up and down, hence, didn't notice transmission issue. Well, when I replaced master cylinder....I found the wire bundle melted together, not allowing a simple one wire at a time approach. Thanks for the input. I will bypass that and check it out. Merry Christmas!
