It stays on until put in gear.Anyone with a 2006 have this prob.Dealer said it is a reminder to set your brake,I cant believe that.To me it is the reverse.I always thought the light was a warning that the brake was set. Its really not a problem,I e-mailed ford, just waiting for a response.Aside from that this rig is awsome. Just got back from a 860 mile round trip and Karen kept telling me slow down on the way home.I didnt realize how fast I was going.A lot has to do with me getting comfertable behind the wheel.

I was wondering where those track marks in the road were from now I know Frankie went thru the day before.
Have you a switch near your parking brake that needs some adjustment, when brake should show its released. May have to stand on your head to check out unless you have a door. "007"

Thanks Roger, no way I can fit under dash,I have been training Jesse to do all my projects that involve tight places . I wish someone with a 2006 chassis(not sure year matters) would confirm what dealer said ,so I dont have to dope slap him.
