Hello everyone! I am very impressed with the amount of information that is available on this site.
I have chose to add the Scangauge II. Very impressed especially for the money.
What I am looking for is the list of trouble that I can print and carry in the Georgie.
Does anyone know of a website that has these published?
Thanks.
Jeff, RV newbie

Welcome to irv2, jeff. As you have already mentioned, you will find lots of information here. You will also find some really nice people that are willing to help wherever they can.
As far as your question, I guess I am not sure what you asking for. Not sure what a "list of problems" means.

Jeff,
If you are looking for a listing of the Ford OBDII trouble codes try:
http://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/ford/index.php
I have the ScanGauge-II on my F53 also and find it a valuable tool.
Regards,

I guess I forgot to add the word "code".
It was in my brain, just didn't make it to the fingers I guess.
Thanks for seeing through my blunders of being in a hurry.
Jeff

Hello Jef: Welcome to a great site. I too am new to the site although I have been reading it for quite awhile. As you have probably already noticed everyone is very friendly and offer loads of help. You mentioned you have an 05 Georgie Boy. Same rig as my own. I have the 35 Anniv EDition: 35 foot double slides. We picked it up at the end of 04 and just put over 15,000 miles on it. So far we have have very small problems. One recently is worth mentioning. When the bedroom slide met it's final position, in or out, we would blow a 20 AMP fuse for the back of the coach (bedroom and bathroom) and also would affect rear A/C (110 volt) Turns out the original wiring under the rear bed came loose and worked its way to the slide mechanism thus causing both problems. Just for you information. May you and yours have many great and safe miles and if your ever in the sunshine state give us a holler... bill

Along the same line.....
Is there a way to read the trouble codes without a scanner?
On my Jeep I can turn the ignition key on and off I believe 4 times, and any trouble codesw ill display on the dash.
Is there a similiar procedure for the Fords?

jobrien,
Not that I know of! I am surprised that you are able to get codes with out a reader / scanner on your Jeep. The days of "count the flashes" have gone with "setting the points with a dime" Im afraid. It is annoying when manufacturers could add a direct code read out on the dash for eng,ABS,trans etc so easily ... it is obvious why they don't ...but still
I have an Actron CP9150 scan tool that I have been very happy with ...

Chrysler when they went to a digital odometer started displaying the engine trouble codes there. You have to tick the ignition key on and off several times and then all the uncleared codes will display.

The OBD ll diagnostic port is just to the right of the steering column. Thanks for the tip on the rear slide out. So far the only problem is a seal on one of the leveling jacks. I am adding the Banks kit next week, then an Air-lift air bag kit with a front track bar. Boy you get these things in the wind and my days of driving VW buses come hauntingly back!

To; Jeff Lawrence,
Hi, Jeff and welcome aboard,
Before spending money on after market items;
Have your rig WEIGHED, loaded for travel.
Make sure all tires are inflated for that weight as per tire manufacturers raatings. This is not the numbers embossed in the tires, these are maximums.
If you're running on a tires that are overinflated for the load, you have less tire meeting the road and are more susceptible to swaying, bouncing,oversteer etc.
Try this, may save you some $$$
Thanks--- AIME===== AJBJRVERS--
