F53 19.5 or 22.5 tires question

Is the larger tire a benefit assuming the weight of the coach is comparable? I am looking at several coaches, all have gcwr of 26K but two come with the larger 22.5 tires and one has the 19.5
What are the benefits of the larger tire? I would guess the ride is a little better? Although I would think the suspension is more important for ride than the tires and without air ride I can't imagine there is much difference. Is there any major benefits running one or another?

There is a major difference in how the vehicle rides on 22.5 inch tires vs 19.5 inch tires. Anomalies in the road such as potholes and things like that impact 22.5s less. The bigger tire are more comfortable overall and I can assure you that if you have a choice, get the 22.5 especially if you are getting a 26K GVWR motorhome or you will be disappointed. The suspension can only do so much with smaller sneakers.

Thank you Driver

GVWR is the 22K for the units. I am currently torn. The unit with the 22.5's has two slides but lots of extras I like. The unit with the 19.5's has a better floor plan with a larger slide and less of other amenities. I am leaning toward the 22.5 equipped chassis at the moment.
My last Class A had the 19.5's so I was clueless about how a gas chassis is with the bigger tires.

our last class a had 19.5 tires so thats what i wanted again, but this unit was the one that we liked best and it has 22.5 s. i thought the smaller tire would be easier for me to handle. the unit w ehave now rides a lot smoother . every note i read says its the larger tires. but it also coulkd be the weight as its about 4500 # heavier. sooooooo, bigger tires on a small unit.

The 22.5 has a better ride. My 01 motorhome had 19.5 wheels and now my 07 has the 22.5.

I was searching for pricing on both size tires on the internet. It appears the 22.5 are not much more than 19.5's and in some cases the same or cheaper even.
