F53 drive train noise!
Just picked up my new Tiffin Allegro 35QBA (f53,22,000 gvwr, 242" WB) at Ancira RV in Boerne, Tx. On the drive back to Dallas area I noticed a fairly loud whine in the driveline. Really begins to sing at 60-65 mph, louder on acceleration and quiets down when coasting. It has about a 1000 miles on it. Does anyone have any info on this condition?

It may not be the engine. On my Bounder, the front grill has about 12 hollow alum tubes with end caps and it produced the same noise at a certain speed. Fleetwood had the dealer fill the hollow tubes with pool sand and the noise disappeared.

Sounds like differential gear noise. Suggest a Ford truck shop take a look.

That type of sound most of the time comes from a loose pinion nut.
Do as jcthorne said above and have them check the torque on that nut. If it is loose it will also start to leak oil out of the pinion seal.

The noise only starts when the engine RPM encreases. I removed the engine cover and at idle the engine sounded great, when I encrease the RPM the noise starts. Would it be hard to change the clutch fan? I keep an eye on the temp and it appears to be normal, no encrease the last time I use the home.
Thanks guys for the input so fast.
