From NAPA new ones come with new calibers. Just did all ours on the 1997 HR as piston facing was coming apart.

Sand the rust off, and WD 40 on the pins

WHICH F53 chassis are you dealing with???
The older 460 powered models had diamond shaped (cross section) pins whereas the '99 and newer V10 chassis used conventional round pins.

If it's the steel covered, diamond shaped rubber one's, you make sure the caliper is sitting properly and just tap them into the hole. It may take a good hit to get them started.

And make sure you lube them, the auto parts store has the lube a lot cheaper than the dealer

Sorry patch. I miss read your post. To get them in, first make sure the slot for the pin is correct. Use old pin or a drift to get it right on. Now for top pin, hold with tits up and start into slot at about a 30 degree angle. When you tap with hammer you will be closing that pin gap into the slot. Once started, keep tapping and bring pin down to align straight in.

For the bottom pin, hold with tits down and angle the pin down. By holding pin at an angle, it will usually start in even if the alignment isn't perfect. Nothing like good brakes on the rig.😂
