Does anyone have any experience with adding the mor ryde suspension change to their F53? How about the Koni shocks? Thanks

Buster,

Sorry I didn't see this thread earlier.

On our previous motorhome, on a 1999 F53 chassis, I added MorRyde on both the front and rear axles. The front resulted in immediate softening of the jarring ride when hitting expansion joints or raised bumps on the road. the rear wasn't quite as noticeable, probably because we sit over the front axle, but the rear also softened the ride.

I did the installation myself, and it should take around 4-5 hours an axle.

Any other questions, please ask.

Buster, can't comment on the MorRyde system, but we had such a rough ride up front with our 2000 rig I replaced the front shocks with Monroe's at 12,000 miles made all the difference in the world with the ride. In March of this year replaced the rear shocks with Koni's, made it ride even better. Before spending big bucks on modifying the suspension, I would highly recommend installing Koni shocks front and rear. They're a bit pricey but I think you'll find it money well spent.

Good Luck, Jim
