I see my drive shaft seal is leaking...I wonder what the differential oil level should be...I am assuming the level is to the filler plug...

Doug1939, Yes the level should be level with the fill plug. Also a word of caution, check your owners manual and you'll find the Ford differential came from the factory with synthetic lubricant, so make sure you add the same type if it's low. I would also recommend having the seal replaced when you can.

I think the the differentail has a breather on it. See if it is plugged up and causing the pressure to push the oil out.

That is a good thought, I will check to see if the line is ok...I only have 21000 miles on the RV, so should be covered by warranty....the problem is the hassle of finding a dealer, and having to leave the Rv for few days, or maybe a week...for sure it has to repaired...

Your assumption is correct. Fill until it runs out of the filler plug hole.

</div></BLOCKQUOTE>Doug, You are correct. On a level surface allow the fluid to either drain out or fill the differential until the fluid wets the threads and does not flow out.
Restore the plug.
A leaky wheel seal should be covered under your factory warranty for the period indicated in your warranty handbook.
Displaying your year and chassis model helps.

Thanks to all for your input....I crawled under and had a look, the oil level is down about 2 inches, but I discovered the breather line is crimped tight, by the mickey mouse holding clip, that secures the line to the chassis, as well there appears to me, that an additional line was intended to place the outlet high in the chassis to prevent moisture from getting in....as it is the outlet of the breather line is hanging below the chassis rail, with a connector that goes nowhere....off to find dealer that will do warranty work...

Your pic looks like the tube is crushed maybe should replace vent tube and tie off or open up that clamp.
