I'd love to add a rear track bar to my rig this spring. 2000 GBM Landau 2905 on a 1999 F53 Chassis.

Looks like there are a few routes I could take. Tell me if I've got this right:

HOME MADE
Like Oemtech's.

ULTRATRAC
About $470 for the UTF53R from Brazel's.

SUPERSTEER
About $500 for the SS400 or 401 (not sure on diff?) from SuperSteer.

BLUE OX TIGERTRAK
Something new released late in 2007? Not sure on pricing?

To anyone who's installed - Could you outline the installation proccess and tools needed?
(Do you jack-up rig? ect.)

This one is home made for about 50 bucks. Installed on a 2006, but process is the same. The difference it makes is remarkable.

Gene,
Tom Raper has the Super Steer for $416.53 + shipping in Richmond, IN.
I bought my Blue Ox Tiger Trac from ExpressDistributing.com for $416 with free shipping
They quoted me $499.95 + $25 shipping and when I told them I could get it for $416 they matched the price with free shipping! Talk to Barbara!
Here is another deal you might check out:
http://media.channelblade.com/boat_g...s/17281/38.pdf
They've got a SS402 supersteer trac bar for $399 on clearance!

Pete

If you go homeade, remember that the rear pumpkin changed in 2006, so the style bracket has changed.I know this because I had one made from a set of plans and it wouldnt fit.

Can't wait!
Ordered my rear trac from Mike @ Brazels!
Got my fingers crossed that it'll give me the handling improvement I'm looking for!

Looks like the MH is jacked up,when the weight is on the axle it should level out.

My coach has a minor swaying problem when I make turns and when being passed by trucks on the freeway and in windy conditions. I will have the coach weighed and determine the proper air pressure in the tires and see if that cures the problem. In the event that does not cure the problem I am wondering if correcting with a rear track bar or a front stabilizer would be in order. Would it be better to do the rear first or the front?

One more question.
What is the difference between a track bar and a anti sway bar?
