Ford cab AC not blowing out any air.

It's a 1999 Ford E350 Super Duty V10.



The AC is not blowing out any air, hot or cold. I had talked to the previous owners last week and they told me that the blower motor had recently been replaced in the last six months.



The first thing I looked for was blown fuses and they are all still good.
I found that the blower motor resistor (the actual resistor itself had an open circuit when I measured it with a multimeter) and was heavily corroded.



I haven't replaced it yet but just wanted a second opinion on if it could be anything else?

Does it sound like the blower is running but not pushing air? That’s what I had and found a cracked vacuum line. It was a simple fix in my case.

The blower doesn't sound to be running at all. I'm replacing the blower motor resistor later today.

I believe the resisters are only used for the speeds other than high. I think high doesn't go through resister. Perhaps you could check for voltage TO resister on each fan speed. If you're getting voltage, it could be a faulty ground.
