Ford F53 Spare
Looking for a Steel rim for a spare. Anyone recently bought a Ford 22.5 x 7.5 inch steel Rim for the motor home. Everything I have found is an 8.5 inch rim.

Since it is unlikely you can change that yourself, why not just carry the tire unmounted?

My wheels have a Mfr ID and PN stamped on them. Get yours off and google away. I found one place that would ship a wheel to me but have yet to order it.

Oh.......I assume he means a rim to put a tire on that will be carried around as the "spare tire." Thats what I meant.

if you use a aluminum wheel for a spare you cannot mount 2 aluminum wheels together on a dually axle.....if I remember right

Since it’s a spare, my thinking a steel rim is cheaper. I like the suggestion of just carrying a spare.
I have change my own flats on other units I have owned. Carrying a jack stand and a electric wrench.

If you can find the part# on the wheel I may be able to fix you up. I have a wheel and tire mounted that I'm not using. I live in southeastern Pa so not that far away from you. Let me know if I can help.

After searching for months for a spare wheel for my Winnebago Vista I bought one from buytruckwheels.com. Expensive but their service was excellent. It all started when no one at the dealership told me I should get the front end aligned after loading and driving the coach a couple thousand miles. Ruined my front tires in 11,000 miles. I kept the old tires and carried one for a spare for a year thinking it could save me sometime. Then I ran into an RVer who had a blowout which also ruined the wheel. So I went searching for a wheel! I now have a complete spare and hope I never need it.
