That will probably help a bit, but your best improvement will come from larger (if it has any) anti-roll bars and urethane mounts.

Try Hellwig or RoadMaster.

My 04 15,700# Ford chassis came with Bilsteins and I had significant sway when exiting an uneven driveway apron . I added Firestone air springs to give me some added hitch dragging insurance. At 80# pressure they damped much of the sway. Low pressure didn't do much. BTW, don't use one valve with a Y fitting since it may increase the rocking due to air transfer. Use two valves and you can level the coach for different loads. Good luck

when changing the shocks i noticed the sway bar bushing were bad, replaced them, the old shocks were bad also, after replcing them and adding the air bags the ride is good, did only put 1 air valve on it, may look into that

thanks for all your help

I went to the JCWhitney website and they don't appear to carry rear trac bars for the E-450.

For the side to side rolling you need antiroll bars or as some call them antisway bars....different from a trac-bar.

We went through this with a 1999 E450 Minnie Winnie. We added air bags and Bilstein shocks first and they helps a lot, but still had the side to side roll. Finally put on the antiroll bars with urethane bushings and it stopped the rolling.

As I noted earlier, look at Helliwig or RoadMaster which bought the iPD Suspension products line.

The track bar will keep the axle aligned tot he chassis but not stop the rolling. And install both front and real antiroll bars at the same time.

My rig came with both front(1") and rear
(1 1/8") anti-sway bars so I thought I would add the Trac Bar and Koni shocks before upgrading the sway bars.
