I am driving on the highway at 65-70 mph and feel a clunking noise every once an a while. It does not happen at slow speeds and the roadway is new pavement with no bumps or ruts. I can feel a slight vibration of the noise in my left foot while driving. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Peter, I wonder if its related to your leaning issue. I guess the first thing I would check is the wheel covers.Do you have any steering aids installed?Like safe-t-plus ?

Just a guess, but I was camped next to some folks a couple years ago or so that had a similar noise and vibration. We email back & forth and he told me later he found on the drivers side the lower fiberglass panel that extends back over the tire, he had found was glued to the metal frame work and had come loose. Sometimes the air would catch it just right and it made a clunking sound as it flexed, other times it would get to vibrating he could hear it and feel it. He told me he re-glued with epoxy and so far it's held. He found it by hitting lightly on the fiberglass panels with his hand.

No steering ad ons...and I fixed that problem with the plastic over the wheel. Bago had the dealer put an aluminum stabilized rod to hold it in place. If I figure it out I will let you know. I plan on having someone drive next to me to see if anything is shaking.

Thanks
