Ok - Still extra weight on an E-350 that most times will be loaded to near max just by the coach installed on it. Most motorhomes on gas chassis have very little cargo capacity with many only capable of carrying 1,000 or so lbs after the coach body is installed. Put two big guys in there and you now may have only the capacity to carry 500 lbs of gear.

Another reason to have your coach weighed after you load it the way you do when you travel. Some may be surprised how close they are to max before the add their passengers and how much over they may be once everyone is inside the coach.

I have had a 1983 Class "C" and my wife has a 1986 Class "B" RV along with my 1994 F53 with the 1995 home and all of them have a gauge on the tank operated by a float along with the same gauge inside the home that you talked about above.

Most systems use a transducer mounted on the tank gauge.
