A recent post was asking where is the safety fuel shut off located, got me wondering where is mine. Motorhome is a 1994 Newmar MA on a F53 chassis.
I looked but not sure what the switch looks likes.

I guess different coach builders can put them wherever they want. On my 97 Winnie F53 the switch is on the floor, right under the brake pedal.

The fuel pump shutoff switch is inertia activated in the event of a collision. It was installed on the earlier Ford F53 chassis on the side of the metal frame that holds the steering column and brake pedals above the drivers feet. Look for a small black rectangular plastic box with a round collar on the top. In case of an accident, a button will be visible above the round collar. Push it into the collar to reset. Pictures and explanation are found in yours Ford owners manual.

I have a 96 F-53 chassis. Dont think there is one on mine. Nothing in the manual about such a device.
